Phoenix is a smooth collie that was acquired from Deep River Collies in North Carolina. She was one of eight puppies in the Blue x Dee litter born July 26, 1997. She introduced me to the worlds of conformation, herding and flyball. Phoenix was a high scoring obedience dog who won several placements in Novice and Open obedience before she was retired. She was also a consistent flyball dog who would run for anyone in any position. However, she loved the head to head racing of start best. Her best time in flyball was 4.3 seconds over 11 inch jumps. |
