Stat is from the Brynn x Risk litter bred by Margaret Lambkin of Rival Kennels in Ontario, Canada. Her sire Risk is an athletic frisbee and flyball dog. Risk is also training/competing in obedience. Brynn is playing flyball for Postive Pups in Ontartio and consistently puts up sub-4 second times on the clock.
We co-own Stat with Denise Heins. She is in training and competing in Flyball, Agility and Herding. Stat has good structure and intense drive. Stat earned her HT at the BCSA National Specialty in 2008 at the age of 9 months. Her flyball training is still in progress but she has participated in a few tournaments. Her current personal best is 4.030 seconds. We expect her to hit sub-4 second times in the future.
Stat is very pushy with other dogs and people. Despite this she is a blast to train. The hardest part of working her is keeping her engaged with you until it is her turn. Stat easily gets sucked into "hype" at flyball and agility events. She also has a wonderful off-switch. When not working Stat is usually sleeping by Angie's feet at the computer or relaxing on the bed. Other people are often suprised by her behavior at home because she gets so "wound up" at flyball and agility events.
